Connecting to the Internet

I have 2 brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab S Tablets. They have an ethernet indicator but I can not connect to the internet with the Smays micro usb connector.
Does anyone have an idea?

I can not use wifi.

Welcome to the forum

Your problem is so common I have an entire thread with suggestions on how to fix it. Check my signature. With that said, why are you using a USB connector rather than the native WiFi in the tablet. Maybe I'm confused.
