Dropped Tablet Won't Even Turn On

I just dropped my Tab, and the metal frame is cracked and dented in the corner of the power button. Now it won't even turn on, and the power button can't even be pressed.

I have tried to take it apart by hand, but didn't want to pry the shell too hard. Any other advice/places to fix it in Connecticut?

I would greatly appreciate any and all advice.

I got it in perfect condition, but second-handed from Ebay. It's still in warranty, so I just submitted a request to Acer.

Hopefully you have proof of purchase, or the original receipt or something. Good luck though, and sorry for the loss.

They aren't going to warranty you dropping it, but will give you an estimate to fix it.

Acer does not warranty damage due to such mishaps. Warranty only covers manufacturers defects, not due to personal misuse or accidental drops. That is why I purchased a protective folder for mine first thing. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.....
