Email set up issues

To anyone that can help,

I have a viewsonic g tablet and at one point was able to set up the email. It stopped working so i deleted the account and attempted to add. Once i try to set a up the account, I now get a message stating "set up cannot be completed", Cannot safely connect to server and (not trusted server certificate).
Any thoughts.
