We bought a Wopad i7 Rocket chip 2819. On the description, it says : Support TF card up to 16GB

Is a TF card a micro SD card? or is it something completely different?

TF is Trans Flash. Old technology, and slightly but not overly expensive memory. Looks square. Quite thick.

TF, T-Flash and TransFlash are old names for MicroSD. Just get a MicroSD or MicroSDHC that's class 4 or higher and you should be fine.
