I just signed up. i have a android 2.2 7" tablet PC. i apply a password and forget. now i can't factory restore and also i can't unlock my tablet.

A factory restore will only put everything back also it will delete all your apps at the same time do you know this!, (Why anyone needs a password on a tablet beats me) if no one here can help the best way is to reinstall the OS again.

There should be a way to factory restore using the hardware keys (VOL and POWER). Hard to say exactly what it is for your device, I would contact the manufacturer to see if they can help.
