Galaxy 10.1 Constantly Freezing

I've had a Galaxy 10.1 since December. Recently, it's begun to freeze up virtually every day. I've had android phones for a few years, so I'm familiar with the operating system, etc and I haven't had this kind of issue on either phone I've had. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. Froze in the middle of a browser last night, in contacts later and then trying to open a document through whatever the book shelf app of Samsung's is called. I thought it might be the native launcher, so installed Go Launcher which has worked flawlessly on my phones but that froze this morning. It seems to be a memory issue to me. Anyone else have this issue with this tablet?

The key may be the word "recently". I would try to think back to any apps you may have installed that could be causing the problem as it seems that it isn't isolated to any one app. Any battery or power savers, active widgets like weather or wallpaper could be the problem.
