got my first tablet: apad 710 trackball, RC2818 256mb ram

So it just came in today and would like to get the most out of it. I want to root it so I can do more and help out the battery life.

any advice on this tablet? I haven't read much on the trackball tablet so I knew I was taking a leap of faith. In the first day I have had it I would say it will fit my needs well.

so what advice do you fellas have for rooting this tablet and trying to maximize the performance???
