Hi

Just recived that i expected to be an epad but im not entriely sure what i do have..

on the box it says 'MID' when turning it on android loads up but when i look at the model number it just states 'generic'.

Any ideas what system this acutally is?

Go to Settings->About Tablet (might say About Device)

or

Setting->Software Information

You should see entries at the bottom for Model number, Firmware version Baseband version, Kernel Version and Build number.

that will provide a lot more information about your device.

Hmmm only thin i can think of is the apad e7001 or e7002. But there are so many generic tablets out that i cant be 100%
