Hello! I'm El and I've been over-shoulder browsing this forum for a little while. I finally decided to join up and post with my own questions and partake of this fine wealth of gadget-y knowledge today.
I don't own any devices yet, but I hope to rectify that some time in the New Year, it's all so puzzling to begin with!

I draw comics, photograph things and have two rather "special" cats.. And that's me in a text-y nutshell.

if you are looking to be able to sketch directly on your tablet, you may want to really look at the better resistive screens, these allow you to easily draw with something like an app called Maplepaint.

Hi, p!
I am not interested in drawing on a tablet, sorry if I was confusing. I was just giving a little insight into what I do when I'm not scouring messageboards for information.
I am going to have a read of the forum and post in the stickied advice thread once I have a good idea of what I would like from a tablet.
