Help just got zt180 how do i open files from the usb stick

Hi all, just got the zt 180, seems great but i want to read a pdf and have adobe reader but when i connect the usb i cannot find how to access the files, there is a file explorer but is says there are no files, and when i try through adobe it is only trying to access files from the sd card not the usb, what am i doing wrong, have scrolled through the menus and cant find anything that helps.

try loading the app "oi file manager" then when you plug in your usb stick it should be located under the folder udisk. i'm using a zt-180 with 1020 firmware

Although I have a 'SuperPad' what I found to work might help. I had to put at least one file with the .apk suffix i.e, SetCPU_2.0.2.apk on the USB stick for it to be recognized as a drive. Then you can access the non .apk files.
