Hi! Problems With Polaroid Lollipop

I'm Elthea, and I just got a notice that said my screen resolution showed I was using a phone, I'm on a tablet, and that my visualization tools weren't available at that scrren resolution, but I could adjust them if I was on an android, but not how. How do I change my screen resolution, so I can view this and other stuff properly? Also, it's not a big problem, but there is a click box setting in settings so that you'll get better speaker sound. It won't stay checked. The person I talked to at Polaroid said I needed to do a complete factory reset to fix it. For that barely problematic issue, I wasn't about to, but if anyone knows why it won't stay clicked and if anything other than throwing a grenade at it could fix it, it would help sometimes. I'm going to side with Polaroid on the factory reset. Did it ever work properly.
