How do I download apps on my Android tablet?

I got a android tablet for free from zeromartz.com (Redeem Points). I want to download apps but every time I go to it says my gmail account isn't recognized with an android device? Does anybody have any suggestions?

Does your tablet have the "Play Store" or "Market" installed? If so, open it and it should register your device with your account.

If not, there are lots of other app markets such as:
Amazon Appstore (US Only)
AppBrain
GetJar
