We have a clone tablet (non branded) with Android 4.1.1 installed. I wondered if it possible to download HD games, for example, to a PC first, then put them on a USB to install onto the tablet? We have a 2G dongle modem, no wifi connection at home for the tablet, so download to PC first is easiest. Most sites want to download direct onto tablet, which is a pain. Can anyone advise?

You are correct, most sites will only download to the tablet but if you can find the APK files doing a Google search it is possible to install it by putting it on your tablet using a file manager or SD card then taping it to install.
