How do you get Sony S to Recognize Ad-hoc connections?

Does anybody know how to get the Sony S Tablet to recognize Ad-hoc wireless connections?

The problem is with android, not with the tablet. Take a look at these links. We need to root the device and modify some files for ad hoc.

I use ES file explorer to access shared folders on my htpc,Steams very well with mobo player all movie file types
