Huawei tablet not downloading certain apps

My husband and I bought this tablet this weekend and have been working on it nonstop the entire weekend. We bought it for my daughter to be able to watch movies and play games on. We have been able to get it to download some apps, but non of the media players will download. Once we click on them from the marketplace, they say they will be downloaded, but then never do download. What can we do?

If it looks like the first picture it means you're going to need to mess around with it until it updates. If that doesn't work for you, you could try installing a different ROM.
One thing, is it the Huawei S7 or the S7 Slim?
