Internal Hard drive Problem

Somehow my Archos 70 got an internal hardrive error. It says that it must be reformatted and i am not sure how to do this can anyone help?

Hold the Volume Button down as you boot (Pressing the power button), Then release, this will put it into recovery mode, This is a set of integrated utilities for reset Calibration, HD format, initialization....

.....carefull not to select "format device" unless you have .aos firmware file and planning to wipe out your a70.
