Kindle app not refreshing list

Hi all, got a (hopefully) simple question. I recently got a Toshiba T100 as a freebie with a laptop and noticed that it came with the Kindle Reader app pre-installed along with three books. My issue is that if I put a new book onto the device (in the same folder as the ones that it came with), the app won't update its list of books until I go settings->applications->manage applications->Clear data. After doing that, the first time I open the Kindle app it asks me to log in again (as expected since I cleared data) and then updates the list of books I have. While it is certainly possible to do this every time I add or remove a book, it is very annoying. Any ideas on how to get it to update normally?

I don't think so. What format of books are you trying to put on it? You could use a different reader program if they are not Amazon books.

If you want a converter, I'd recommend Calibre. It's free.
