I got a car charger for my 7015 at radioshack, 5v 2.5a. My first question is will this wear down my car battery, since it is a small car?And my other question is that I need a car to outlet converter. There's one at Walmart but it doesn't say whether it can handle 2.5a, should I assume it can

Car headlights are about 100 watts. 5V x 2.5A = 12.5 watts, but I think the Coby pulls at most 5 watts, probably 2 or 3 if it's close to charged. If your car battery can power the headlights you should be fine. Parked for days (weeks) with the car off and the charger plugged in might be an issue.
I'm assuming the radioshack 5v 2.5a is USB. And that you have an adapter for USB to Coby --- not a standard item or easy to find. I bought mine in France, it's for a Motorola Phone. I've seen two that work, both had a little yellow band on the Phone (Coby) end of the cable.

The adapter isn't usb, radioshack has connectors to choose from. But I don't know if it can be converted to acdc, every car connector I see seems to be limited to 300 or 500ma.

What I'm using is 12V DC (car) to 5V USB. It's a simple little cigarette plug with 2 USB connectors on the end. No AC, no fan, 2.1A output. I tried a 350ma power source and it was heating up and smelling. I punted that one.
