As I'm sure you're aware, the Ziio doesn't come with the Android Marketplace and the Ziio Shop is, well, a bit rubbish.
I'd recommend visiting Android Freeware: Best and Free Software for Android mobile platform where you can download the APKs for a lot of popular software.
If you have another Android device with the Marketplace, another option is to download the app onto that and then use a popular backup tool (I use MyBackup Pro) to backup your apps to SD card. Once there, you can find the APKs in the backup folder - simply transfer to your Ziio!
