Can anyone, provide list of supported 3G modems by haipad MID701?

Hi there, I'm in the same boat, I have spent a week trying to figure out how to use the 3G. I'm in Australia and the only 3G connections on my unit are in England, China etc... it's driving me crazy because I don't want to purchase a 'hotspot' I would much rather use a usb modem. I purchased a Telstra 3G USB Modem hoping for a plug n play but it would not recognize it! Can anyone give me some ideas?

I am from Auckland and yes have the same problem. The shop personell said it is the factory setting??
