 I am new to Android tablets , but have been using a Droid X smart phone for about 3 months. I purchased a Ideos S7 from Best Buy 2 Weeks ago and returned it yesterday. The battery life and touch screen sucked.

I need some suggestions on a replacement. I have thought about an IPad2. Any sugestions????

Just picked up a Motorola Xoom Wifi. Can't wait to put it through it's paces.:)

A Nook Color is a good tab in that price range. It only lack cam and Bluetooth (custom roms can enable Bluetooth function). If you have around $340-350, the Viewsonic G-tab would be my next pic. Check out both sections here and see if either would suite your needs.

Motorola Xoom. I just took a look at it. Great touch screen. If you have nails, you are still going to have to use the pad of your finger, but it has great sweeping motion. It has a lot of features including the Ntegra dual core chip, cameras, etc. Verizon is selling it now, however I just got an email from Costco that they are accepting pre-orders at $589.00 with no contract to a carrier. Just a suggestion as an alternative. It has the Market installed so no rooting necessary. Nook is a fine device but needs to be rooted I believe?
