need help to turn on tablet please !!!

hi everyone new to the site here i have a coby 8024 that was working great for more than a year now and all of a sudden the screen shut off im running it stock and its not bricked it does turn on but only when i plug it into the charger i lost the original charger for almost a month so for that time i used a random 9v charger i hope thats not the case but if its 9v the same should it be ok? and if i need a new battery how do i go about fixing it as everything else about this tablet works great.

any feedback would be appreciated thanks

But the forum can helped you
But dont just use random chargers
Even if its 9v
You need to ressurect your coby......
