Bought my hubby an off-brand android tablet for Christmas. Wanted to use it as a streaming device. Have absolutely NO idea how to sync it to my laptop or tv. I need major help

Syncing to a laptop will work for media like photos etc. using DropBox or Box.net as an example. Your best option for streaming to the TV is that you would need an HDMI port on both the tablet and the TV.
