no video

Ok, hope this is the right place. Have android tablet model m001. Won't play videos on youtube. Message says page not available. Any ideas

Have you tried playing the same videos through the YouTube app? That might work

I did use the app for YouTube ...Went to other sites and wont play vids there either. Any thoughts ?

did the app work? and its because android doesnt support flash player until 2.2 so it wont play any flash video's from websites, now you can download a web browser skyfire which is said to play flash videos.

I will give skyfire a try. I just bought this, so vdont know if video playbaack worked. Thanks for the help.

your welcome and let us know if skyfire works, also try your youtube app and see if youtube videos will play through there

Your tablet doesn't support hardware decoding for video. It has very limited video capabilities. You'll be lucky to find any video that plays on that device. It's a hardware limitation.

I can get utube to work on my m002 but it does crash on some file types

I have a VIA based table with the following spec:
VIA 8505 + ARM9, 300MHz, Android 1.9.7

This tablet already came with a video player, but this video player does not play AVI, RMB, etc., when it plays FLV or MP4, the audio either out of sync or video got stuck. I downloaded RockPlayer Universal, and this couldn't play either. Any idea why?
