Noob here please help!!!

Hey everyone, just got a 10" Viewsonic G tablet. Is there anything I can add to this to have access to regular Android Apps or make this tablet resemble android devices? I am hoping there are some positive answers out there. Thank you in advance.

Nothing to add, just to root the device and install a custom Rom. Look here or in the xda forums to get more information.

I rooted my one straight out of the box and never looked back.

Yeah, a custom ROM will probably be your best bet in this case.
