It looks like we have quite a few different setups for various members at this point and I was wondering if anybody cared to share their modifications and corresponding performance. If we can get some numbers together in one thread it might help others decide which changes to make. It also might help direct performance refinements.

Ideally we would have something like this for various set ups:

Stock auto-nooter set up

Software: Android 2.1
B&N: 1.0.1
CPU: 300MHz, 600MHz, 800MHz
Quadrant Score: 948
Screen Time out: 2 mins
Brightness: Low
Wifi: always on
Battery Life: 8+hrs

Or screen shots of the information.

B&N: 1.0.1
CPU: 300MHz, 600MHz, 800MHz
Quadrant Score: 954
Screen Time out: 2 mins
Brightness: Low
Wifi: auto
Battery Life: 12hrs

With SetCPU settings changed to recommendations in Battery Life thread Quadrant Score change is negligible battery life is improved.

Using Clockwork Mod to Overclock:

950MHz
Software: Android 2.1
B&N: 1.0.1
CPU: 300MHz, 600MHz, 950MHz
Quadrant Score: 1093 (14.5% higher than stock)
Screen Time out: 2 mins
Brightness: Low
Wifi: auto
Battery Life: Not tested
SetCPU: rico2001's settings

1000MHz
Would not boot.

1000MHz - omap 3630
Software: Android 2.1
B&N: 1.0.1
CPU: 300MHz, 600MHz, 800MHz, 1000MHz
Quadrant Score: 1124 (17.8% higher than stock)
Screen Time out: 2 mins
Brightness: Low
Wifi: auto
Battery Life: Not tested
SetCPU: rico2001 default settings

1100MHz - omap 3630
Software: Android 2.1
B&N: 1.0.1
CPU: 300MHz, 600MHz, , 800MHZ, 1000MHz, 1100MHz
Quadrant Score: 1170 (22.6% higher than stock)
Screen Time out: 2 mins
Brightness: Low
Wifi: auto
Battery Life: Not tested
SetCPU: rico2001 default settings, also tested with alternative SetCPU Conservative profile settings (http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...19-setcpu-settings-nookcolor-3.html#post52675) with no real change in score.

Never managed with Phiremod v3 or 4.1 to run Cpu Test about Video Decoding-H.264.
Could it be that it doesnt have some codecs??

I'm now on Custom Nookie Froyo, but when I was on Phiremod Beta2:

Software: Phiremod Beta2
CPU: 300MHz-1.1GHz (300 MHz screen off, 800 MHz battery< 20%)
Quadrant Score: 1754
Screen Time out: 2 mins
Brightness: Lowest
Wifi: whatever the default is, I don't keep it always on...
Battery Life: Never paid enough attention to tell you a number, but it was good enough

Nice, so Phiremod Beta 2 at 1.1GHz takes it up to 85.02% increase over the stock score of 948. It is another 30% higher than Beta 2 at 800MHz over stock!

That was the best score I got in Phiremod Beta 2. I had issues with WiFi so I decided to try Custom Nookie Froyo. I like it better and WiFi is more stable, but not perfect. Thinking about switching to the CM build with bluetooth...

There are many good options right now but none are perfect. Sort of the wild wild west at the moment. For my reported scores I usually try and take an average of 3 or 4 tests since there always seems to be one much higher and one much lower than the others over a few tests. Looks like I need to get the 1.1GHz kernel for my Beta 2.

I just got about the same result with the 1000MHz kernel. Not too shabby. :)

I'm running Phiremod v5.1 and I got a 1440 Quadrant score running @ 925mhz. Wish I could take a screen shot, but that still doesn't work.

Dunno.. All I did was flash it, install my stuff, then run Quadrant. I'm flashed differently right now, but I'll re-run it shortly and see if that was an oddball result.
