Problems moving icons...

Hello everyone,

I've received my A700 yesterday and I'm trying to set it up the way I did with my HTC Desire...

But I stumble upon a problem when I try to move the icons on screen:

Very, very often the long touch I do on the screen is recognized as a single tap (starting the app) or it goes into move mode and immediately snaps back to normal mode (icon stays where it is). Out of 10 tries only 1-2 are successful.

I tried deactivating the ring and setting the screen sensitivity to high but to no avail.

Has anyone encountered the same or similar problem?

OK... I found a solution... don't laugh: it works when I wet my finger.

I wouldn't laugh at the solution, with a capacitive screen it makes perfect sense. When I think of the possible scenarios that led to you using your tablet with wet fingers though, that makes me laugh.

Wetting your finger makes a lot of sense. When my skin is really dry I can't get the screen to respond. Unfortunately wetting your finger leaves band fingerprints worse than usual.
