[Req] multimedia player for tablet please

hi I am new to android forum but want to learn more
the acer iconia comes preloaded with a brilliant app which plays music vids and view pics. however my sony s tablet didnt come with anything like this hopefully someone more experienced could link me to a good app to do all of this. thankyou.
