[RESOLVED] HP Slate 7 Suddenly Died

My tablet suddenly hung up when I was reading a book. I couldn't turn the page. I decided to re-boot. But the tablet would not boot up. The battery indicator indicated half full. It was very cold outside but this happened in a hospital waiting room. Anybody have any suggestions?
