Rooted Tablet and App Store

Have rooted my tablet using the NA2 method. Love it and wish I had done it sooner. The problem is that sometimes in the Google Apps store, it says the app is not compatible with my Nook Tablet. If I look at my devices in the App store, it listed the device as Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet. I have installed and ran other apps that I couldn't get on the Nook, so why can't I grab others? Anyone else seen this?
