screen will not rotate

I just recently purchased a A500 but I can not get the screen to rotate at all.

Android 3.1
Kernal 2.6.36.3

I compared the screen settings with the Moto Zoom and see that it has a setting to allow auto rotate or not. But when I check my settings, I have no such setting to be able to turn on/off auto rotate.

Any clue?

Sigh.. I did some google searches first which is what brought to this forum. I thought the Android settings would be similar from devise to devise so I thought something was wrong when I compared it to my coworkers settings also running 3.1

Anyway, thanks for the answer.
