sd card space is full

Him im matt and i got a new android sylvania 7 inch mini tablet. and ive been using it for a while. lately whenever i tryy to download an app it keeps saying that sd card space is full. the bad thing is i never put an sd card in just been using device memory. I cant even upgrade my system now. I tried returning device to factory default and the problem persists what should i do? My device is SYNET7LP-DS

The internal memory is normally called the sdcard and is not add-on memory.

Are you positive you did a factory reset, and when you started up again you had to go through the entire setup routine?
