Sound issue or annoyance

Hello,

I was listening to music on my Acer A500, I then pulled out the headphones from the jack and I could not get sound from the speakers. I went in the sound settings and the sound was muted, so I unchecked, but still no sound. Looked at the settings again and it was still muted. Ended up having to reboot to resolve it......so I tried it again just to see if it was a repeatable issue and it was. Anyone else having no sounds from the speakers after removing headphones??

Yes, I've had the same issue. Also, after I remove the ear buds, the icon for it stays in the tray.

I,ve had the same issue.. thought I'd broken something.

Put the jack back in and took it out again and it fixed itself.

Sounds like a bit of an issue.....does Acer have a place to report flaws?

had similar problem after android 4 upgrade - could not unmute - audiomanager solved it from marketplace

Great work Chris. Could you supply a little more info for Oldhamtrader whose wife has the problem with her tablet?
