Strange!!!

Had my tablet(sytabex7) not boot-up after everything was running smooth on friday night. Started it up saturday morning and it just sat at the sylvania screen forever. Had to flash the os back on it and mod it all over again. Lucky i saved all the mods on the sd card. Don't know what went wrong! Just sharing another experience with the tablet.

If possible, could you post a profile of your setup in order to gain some insight of what combination might work/not work?

hwver=?
Firmware installed= whatever last *ius burned or whatever the factory reset installed
Rooted/not rooted
removed any stock applications? phone.apk, telephonyprovider.apk, etc
Installed applications - ?
anything that makes your setup unique?

Thanks, that way it might be able to figure out what combination leads to a non-bootable setup.

I installed Busybox on tablet and it stopped working after reboot the next morning.

hwver = 11.2.1.5
firmware = DG2.20
removed = phone.apk, telephonyprovider.apk, hdmi.apk and a few others but i can't recall which ones
it was rooted using androot with root explorer installed. It was modified but ran very well until i installed Busybox(newest version) just like post below.

I think Busybox bricked 3 tablets on me. Didn't install it on the 4th, and it is still working...days later.

After a few reports and a thread dedicated to http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/sylvania-tablets/15857-caution-busybox-bricked-my-tablet.html I posted a working method of obtaining a full Busybox implementation but it's buried in post #46 of Custom Sylvania ROM development.
