Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 10.1 touch screen cracked

Hi,


My son dropped and cracked the touch screen/digitizer of our Sumvision Cyclone Voyager tablet. After searching for hours and hours on the internet we are unable to find a replacement.


The tablet was bought from:
Sumvision Cyclone Voyager Tablet PC - Tablets | Ebuyer.com

We'd appreciate it if someone could give any information of a supplier who may have this touch screen. The LCD is fine it works, I have opened the tablet in search of part numbers. I've found the part number for the LCD but the touch screen does not appear to have a part number on it.

This may help people who are in my position.

I managed to source the correct touch screen (digitizer) for my Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 10.1 BT from China. The part number for my one is 300-L4052A-C00-V1.0

This is where I bought it from: ?????? ??? 10.1? ?? ??? ??:300-L4052A-C00

Engtaobao.com is an agent for Taobao.com, the touch screen is actually listed on the Taobao.com website. Engtaobao.com buy your item from Taobao.com and then ship it to you. They make a little commission out of it.

It cost me £32.69 including delivery to the UK. Be prepared to pay twice, once for the item and shipping from Taobao.com to Engtaobao.com and then shipping from Engtaobao.com to where ever you are.

Once I had the touch screen, I replaced it myself. Just make sure you are buying the correct one before ordering and make sure both sides, inside and outside, are clean on the new touch screen before replacing it.

Hi, the same thing has happened to my sumvision Cyclone Voyager 11 10.1 screen tablet when my daughter dropped it .. can you please tell me is this the model that you had ? will I need to open up the part to verify part numbers?...and also could you tell me how you removed the digitizer etc ..I cant see any screws ? do you need specialist tools?

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Hi azab61, welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us here at Android Tablets. Another possibility for getting a replacement screen would be to check eBay and try to find a Cyclone Voyager that doesn't work, but has a good touch screen/digitizer. It might be less expensive. The best thing to do is to open the tablet to get to the part number for the touch screen. There are thousands of different screens out there you can easily buy the wrong one. My tablet was the Cyclone Voyager 10.1 Bluetooth Version it was bought from Sumvision Cyclone Voyager Tablet PC, Rockchip RK3066.. | Ebuyer.com

It should have small screws somewhere or the back may just be clipped on. You might have to try to pry it off.

I know a solution go get a new screen from the link below. im not sure it is the same screen please check. you will have to transalte the information on google transalate.

Thanks, it is the right one. I was able to buy form here and replace the screen myself. Anyone looking to buy from the Chinese sites, make sure you match the part number otherwise you might end up with something which you are unable to use.
