Tab needs plug to work

My tablet only works while plugged in. It says fully charged but won't turn on unless plugged in.Any ideas?

It's broken.

Yep, had the same problem on a first gen Gentouch. Probably means you have an issue with your rechargable battery. If you are brave, you can look into it yourself if it is out of warranty or too difficult to exchange.

That's bad luck winterrose, I've had 5 tablets now, none had problems with battery, so next tablet you get, chances are good it's a proper one!
