Tablet Stuck in Screensaver?

For a while now, my tablet proves unresponsive whenever I boot up my system. It shows me the android mascot, system info, etc., and then it automatically runs the honeycomb screensaver, regardless of what I press! The screen ignores my tapping and pressing of buttons (other than the power), and i've tried resetting it an turning it off/on again! I'm willing to factory reset it, if needed, but I don't know how without going to settings, which is beyond my reach at this point.
