Hi Art, congratulations on your Nuvision tablet and welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us here at Android Tablets. That's the correct card. The small one in the illustration is the card itself and would plug into the tablet. The larger item is an adapter that allows you to plug the card into a full size card slot such as you might find on a laptop or PC.

An external Micro SD Card (MSD) AKA TF Card (32GB in your case) is and always was intended as space to store your media files. Books, pictures, videos, movies, music files etc. are what you should be putting there.
