upload ebooks to viewsonic viewpad 7

Hi there....
I want to upload ebooks I have on my pc to the viewpad 7, connected to the USB I can browse through the files and find the books I downloaded directly to the device, but if I put my books on the PC in the same folder the device won't recognise them on the bookshelf.....evrything is in the right format (.epub)

any ideas please?

It depends if your ebook reader is trying to find the files in the internal memory or sd card sometimes...
