What ROM is best?

I use mountain laurel and am generally happy with it. is there a better one that doesn't disable hardware acceleration?

I tried brilliant corners only to be bit by the media delete bug, which makes it useless to me as playing some videos for 3d modelling instruction is a major issue to me.
