Thank you, Wilson! This is very interesting. I wondered how these looked inside. Nice pictures.

Oops there goes your warranty, but thanks for these pics. Any links to high resolution images would be very welcome.

Wilson....
What device/tool did you use to separate the two case half's?
I see some plastic tools on your bench...

Thanks a lot for this teardown!

I have another question, the internal memory is said to be eMMC, is it removable/upgradeable?

sorry ima noob to posting on sites but i was wondering
if theres any details to the hardrive like size and if its replacable or not
and also thank you very much for the teardown very nice work

Thanks for the great pics! Was the unit easy to reassemble? Mine had an unplanned descent to the floor and now one corner will not pop back together completely. With the power button at upper right the problematic corner is the upper left. Any suggestions? Once again thanks for the pics.

Hello Guys,

I just bought an Iconia, but a bit confused as how the UBS works. It has a UBS port, and my understanding is that if I plug in a portable hard drive such as a memory stick or a storage device, I would be able to see and subsequently transfer some of the files to my tablet. However, the tablet doesn't recognize the UBS. It keeps asking for the sdcards. Does that mean if I want to move some of my files from my UBS memory stick over, I first need to move them into the sdcards, then over the tablet?

Any suggestion is highly appreciated
