Where are my apps??

Hi we recently bought a 7 inch android tablet ftom Maplins uk for daughter, she has downloaded apps from the market but cant find where they are to use them, any ideas??

First of all make sure there apps and not like a widget or live wall paper and then try a home replacement like adw or tag home

What version of android does it have?
Are you sure that they have been installed and not just downloaded?
