Where to get apps without access to the official market ?

I was wondering, were can you get apps for your tablet without having access to the official market ?
I mean there are tablets for sale which don't have access to the market, that's pretty useless ??

i use apktor and/or aptoide, you can dload from the net and instal via card. After install do a search for "apktor/aptoide repositories". Once installed on device you can search for apks

Ah, OK. I did some reading and is it true that there is also a site which is a clone of the official market, which you can open in your webbrowser and download the apps directly from to your tablet ?
