Bad Port?

I just picked up a Superpad 2 (which I think is a Flytouch..) and I think I may have a bad Ethernet port (wifi works though).

When I plug the cable in, it doesn't light up like my PC does. I've got the wifi off and the ethernet setting on. I've tried with both static IP active and inactive, but I still get no activity.

It is a Flytouch III. Mine doesn't light up as well but it still works. You could open it and look around if you can risk breaking it.
