today i went to make a backup & noticed clockworkmod was gone, the original blue recovery was there instead. so i re-did it, made my back up. later i checked & once again clockworkmod is gone.

any ideas how to make it stick, in case i need to recover from backup?

thanks

Re push it to your tablet.

you wouldn't happen to know how to do that from ubuntu linux do you? i only have linux.
i been doing it straight from the device from the terminal, just tried for the 5th time & it still reverted.

You have to rename /system/etc/install_recovery.sh before it will stay.

we have a winner!
but its "install-recovery.sh", threw me for a sec till i did a "ls /system/etc"
then it was as simple as:
mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img

i didn't do the "reboot recovery", just powered off. did it twice it's still there.

thanks a bunch.
