Installing Google Play on Coby Kryos 8048-4

Just bought my son this tablet (because of the price) and wanted to know if there is a way to install Google Play on there versus using the GET JAR app that comes on it.

Can anyone help?

Any help would be appreciated! I looked in the forums and couldn't find any specific forums related to this tablet so if someone knows of one and could point me in the right direction would be great to.

i havent gotten that far yet but i just bought one,mines a coby 9.7 and i cant connect to wifi.

You can't install Google Play without rooting.
However, there is an app that is nearly as good as Google Play.
It is called 1Mobile Market.

Check out this thread in the development forums. It makes it very easy to root and install GApps on the 8048-4. I actually did one earlier today myself using these instructions.
