Please help with ICS firmware update....

I have a Basic running HC 3.2 and tried to update firmware to 4.0.3. I followed the instructions and everything went normally except when it rebooted everything was the same. Still on the 3.2 OS. Then I tried again but this time I tried 4.0.1 update and then the same thing. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance.

Well I don't know if I'm asking the wrong questions but I've been reading all I can find. The directions seem to be pretty simple so if I'm missing something I can't figure it out. Only thing I found was I should be formatting the microsd card as a FAT32 which I was from my mac. Only thing I can think is that my micro sd card is faulty. Anyway I'm pretty much a noob at this so any help would be appreciated, thx.
