Second battery use

I just bought a second battery for my thrive. I wanted to have a spare for days when traveling and recharging is not possible. Does anyone know if when you remove one battery to insert the second, if you lose all saved data, pics, settings, etc? Is there any special procedures to follow when pulling the battery? Thanks for replies.

My guess is that it should be just like changing the battery in an android phone. Just shut it down and swap it. The data is all flash memory so I can't imagine you losing data. Let us know if something weird happens.

Even if you pull the battery without shutting down first, you won't lose your data.
