Tablets and USB devices...

I, am looking to buy a Android tablet sooner or later. As a gadget geek I find the tablets appealing because I, can't -- as for the foreseeable future -- afford the Net-book of my choice. Anyway to make a long story short. I, know I, can surf the web, view "AVI" files, download apps et cetera... But I, am concerned with its USB device compatibility feature(s)... Specifically I, would like to know if anyone has successfully gotten an Android tablet to reconize and run any of the WinTV-HVR USB stick(s)...
