trying to unroot nc

hi my name is anita and i am trying to get my device back to when i first bought it. i used the autonooter image file to root my nook. i have tried several times the power off button 8 times then it is supposed to go back to stock. it went through the updates, but then all that happens is nook color logo and the android guy stays on the screen. no matter what i do, it stays the same. i access anything, i dont know what to do. can someone help?

Sure...follow the first post in the link in my signature. It will take you back to stock 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 (whichever file you choose) You don't need post 2 or 3, since you are just wanting to start over.
